Vikki, Clinic Director and Sports Therapist
Vikki, the director of The Recovery Room, is a fully qualified Sports Therapist and insured member of The Society of Sports Therapist.
She graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Chichester in 2016. Since graduating, Vikki has gained extensive experience working in both a clinical and pitch-side environment. Vikki has also spent a number of years working within higher education as the Rehabilitation and Exercise Centre Manager at AECC University College where she oversaw and supported students with the care and rehabilitation of their patients.
Sport has always been a massive aspect of Vikki’s life, whether that be participating or spectating, listening to health and fitness-related podcasts or teaching sports. From a very young age, she swam competitively for Portsmouth Northsea Swimming Club and enjoyed dancing, netball and various other activities. Due to this, Vikki can relate to the physical and psychological effects of injury and believes that individuals of all ages and abilities should be entitled to receive the appropriate treatment and rehabilitation to return to full function and activity.

Georgia, Sports Therapist
Georgia, our Sports Therapist, joined the team in March 2020. She is a fully qualified Graduate Sports Therapist and a member of The Society of Sports Therapists.
Georgia graduated from the University of Chichester in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy. Since then, She has provided pitch-side Sport Therapy and emergency first aid across Hampshire, covering a wide variety of sporting disciplines, including; Rugby, Hockey, and Football. Georgia has experience working within sports injury clinics as well as mobile, traveling to individuals' homes and places of work, offering injury assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and massage for athletes and nonsporting individuals.
Georgia aims to help all individuals by providing the highest quality of treatment, rehabilitation, and guidance to aid in their recovery, whilst ensuring they achieve their desired level of function and fitness and get back to doing what they love in everyday life, pain-free and as efficiently as possible.
Georgia enjoys keeping fit and has recognised now more than ever the positive impact it has on mental well-being. She has always had a keen interest in sports and has a passion for badminton, in which she played competitively for Hampshire.

Gaz, Sports Massage Therapist
Gaz is a fully qualified Sports Massage Therapist and a member of the Institute of Remedial Massage.
Gaz qualified in 2015 with a Diploma in Clinical Sports Massage Therapy with the London School of Sports Massage at Southampton University. Since qualifying, he has continued to develop his soft tissue techniques and loves working with people to assist with injuries, muscle dysfunction, rehabilitation, or preventative measures. Until now Gaz has been mainly mobile, working from home or traveling to clients, and has attended various sporting events.
Gaz is a proud Veteran and spent many years serving in the British Army. He has a love for endurance sports (some may say obsession) and enjoys competing in Triathlon at various distances as well as Ultra Marathons. He successfully completed Marathon Des Sables in 2017 with the strapline of “The toughest footrace on Earth” and is always looking for that next challenge. Gaz has a wealth of knowledge and firmly believes prevention is better than cure. We are super excited to have him join our team.

Kirk, Sports Massage Therapist
Kirk, is a fully qualified Sports Therapist and insured member of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation from the University of St Mark and St John in 2013.
He has comprehensive knowledge in MSK (Musculoskeletal) injury assessment, rehabilitation and a ten-year background working with professional athletes in elite sports, and academic institutions and is currently working as a rehabilitation specialist for the Ministry of Defence. His time working in sport and primary health care has allowed him to work with individuals of all ages and treat a wide range of conditions, taking each person from the point of initial injury to full functional return.
He is very passionate about his work and loves helping people get back to full fitness following an injury or help those who want to live a healthy balanced lifestyle. He does this by combining his skills and knowledge as a level 3 personal trainer and health and wellbeing advisor (DOfit certified). He is a confident and skilled manual therapist and uses up to date evidence-based treatments and qualifications in order to obtain the best results and return you to optimal performance.
In Kirks’ own time he likes to travel and keep fit with a mix of gym based training and outdoor exercise.
